2. Data Collected

On every page request, our hosting provider records technically necessary server logs: IP address, date and time, accessed page, browser and operating system. These serve solely to ensure operation.

When using our consultation request form, we collect: name, email address, and optionally phone, company and message. This data is used exclusively to process your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract initiation) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operation).

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only technically necessary preferences (e.g. light/dark mode) are stored in your browser's local storage and do not transmit personal data.

4. Web Analytics with Matomo

This website uses Matomo, a privacy-friendly open-source web analytics software running on our own web server (keppler.de/analytics/matomo). Your data does not leave our infrastructure and is not shared with third parties.

Matomo records anonymised usage data (e.g. visited pages, time on page, approximate region based on truncated IP addresses) without cookies and without creating personal user profiles. Full IP addresses are not stored.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing website usage to improve our offering). Since no cookies are set, no separate consent is required.

5. Storage Period and Sharing

Your data is stored only as long as necessary to process your request or to fulfil statutory retention obligations. No sharing with third parties takes place unless required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can revoke a given consent at any time.
